About me

I trained with the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art and Victoria College, of which I am now a Fellow and trainee Examiner. I decided not to pursue a career in performance as teaching was my real passion.

I have taught in many schools and colleges across Surrey and Hampshire starting many new departments.

I have worked at Rydes Hill Preparatory School in Guildford for over twenty years, where I have established a thriving Drama department with annual productions in both the Pre Prep and Prep. As well as teaching Drama on the curriculum I offer Speech and Drama tuition to small groups concentrating on Examinations with the Victoria College.

I am a member of the Society of Speech and Drama Teachers and LAMDA Teachers Association.

I am the Honorary Organiser of The Tudor Rose Speech and Drama Festival held annually in Guildford.

I offer private individual or small group lessons to children and adults in confidence building, public speaking and festival and examination tuition. I also specialise in taking children through the process of Drama scholarships for senior school entry.
